Engineer jacket said to have been developed in the 40s-50s

This engineer jacket, believed to have been released between the 1940s and 1950s, has been faithfully recreated.

The engineer jacket originated as workwear for factory workers and mechanics. Designed for indoor use, it features a collarless design and a shorter length, making it lighter and easier to move in.

Among these, this particular model is extremely rare, featuring a cinch-back and retaining stitch marks from where a paper flasher was attached.

The raglan sleeves, uncommon for workwear, expand the range of motion around the shoulders and create a distinctive rounded silhouette.

The fabric used is rigid (unwashed) denim, allowing you to enjoy the unique texture and the aging process through wear and washing.

Buttons

Tack buttons with the "PAY DAY" engraving, reproducing the originals from that era.

"Tack" refers to a nail or pin, and this name comes from the structure where metal buttons are attached to the fabric with nail-like shanks.

Compared to sewn-on buttons, they are extremely strong and are often used on thick, stiff fabrics or in areas subject to high stress.

Cuff

The three-dimensional curved cutting of the cuffs replicates the original design from that period.

Cinch back

A cinch back on the back allows for size adjustment.

At the time, clothing with belt loops was rare, and suspenders were the norm, so the cinch back was used to adjust the fit around the waist.

Stitching

In addition to retaining the stitch marks from the paper flasher (guarantee and advertisement), the decorative stitching (embroidery) uses the same cotton thread as the original, faithfully reproducing the sewing and thread color.
