Why it's not scratchy

JOHA prioritizes fine fibers, specifically 18-19 microns, among high-quality merino wool, so there is almost no scratchy discomfort. Generally, it's not that fibers thicker than 30 microns (30/1000 mm) feel scratchy if they make up 5% or more; rather, the ends of the thicker fibers prick the skin, causing the scratchy sensation.
