Why Merino Wool Is Preferred

Wool is an excellent natural material that provides warmth and absorbs moisture according to the season and body temperature, always maintaining the perfect body temperature. Its function is so remarkable that it's called "nature's air conditioner," making it an excellent material for temperature regulation not only in winter but also in air-conditioned environments in summer. Wool is a versatile material that adapts to the seasons, as it is being re-evaluated for heatstroke prevention. Nordic Ecolabel (commonly known as the Swan Mark)

The Swan Mark (established in 1989), like Oeko-Tex, aims to minimize the impact of products and services on human health and the environment. Why It Doesn't Feel Itchy

JOHA uses only the finest 18-19 micron fibers of high-quality merino wool, so there is almost no uncomfortable itching. It's not that fibers thicker than roughly 30 microns (30/1000 mm) cause itching if they constitute 5% or more; rather, the ends of these thicker fibers prick the skin, causing the itch.
