What is Reverse Weave?

A manufacturing method that uses the fabric horizontally.

Standard sweatshirts are vertical

The "EXPANSION GUSSET" on both sides, which was not present in the 1st model of 1938, was introduced to reduce the effect of horizontal shrinkage and improve ease of movement.

"REVERSE WEAVE?" which acquired its second patent in 1952.

The hood is sandwiched into the ribbed part of the neckline, commonly known as a "post-attached hoodie."

History of Champion

Champion is a long-established sportswear brand founded in Rochester, New York, in 1919.
The company later began supplying highly functional and durable sportswear to university sports teams (American football and basketball), building trust and a solid reputation.
Sam Friedland devised the "Reverse Weave?" manufacturing method.
"REVERSE WEAVE?", which acquired its second patent in 1952.
