Early model of a masterpiece!

This fully reproduced line unearths and faithfully recreates the materials and designs cultivated over Champion's more than 100-year history, down to the smallest detail.
What is Reverse Weave?

A manufacturing method that uses the fabric horizontally.

Regular sweatshirts are vertical

Patented in 1938.
Tag

The collar tag from that era, which didn't display "REVERSE WEAVE™", has also been reproduced. Commonly known as the "Runner's Tag"

"Double V-gusset" found only in 1st models

The wide neckline makes layering easy.

Two pieces of fabric are attached together. Therefore, there are no seams on the shoulders. It's a seamless design that doesn't restrict arm movement.
Ribs

Long ribs can be folded up. Or left as is.

The absence of the C logo patch on the left sleeve is also true to the original specifications of the time.

History of Champion

Champion is a long-established sportswear brand founded in 1919 in Rochester, New York. The company then began supplying functional and durable apparel to university sports teams (American football and basketball), building trust and a solid reputation. Sam Friedland devised the "Reverse Weave™ manufacturing method." He obtained a patent for the method in 1938.
