Cordovan × Tochigi Leather Mini Wallet

This is a round-zip, premium leather mini-wallet that can be used for a variety of purposes.

Exterior

The exterior uses Cordovan leather from Shinki Hikaku, a leather manufacturing factory in Hyogo Prefecture.

Cordovan is a rare and premium leather made from the rump of a horse, known as the "diamond of leather." It boasts three times the strength of cowhide.

Due to the difficulty in maintaining a stable supply compared to other leathers, and the long production period requiring expensive specialized equipment, Shinki Hikaku is the only company in the world capable of integrated production and leather tanning.

Interior

The interior uses Tochigi Leather, which is cowhide tanned with a mimosa-extracted tanning agent.

By undergoing a long, careful tanning process of 20 steps without using any harmful chemicals, the natural texture of the leather can be enjoyed.

Details

In addition to pockets on both ends, the central lining includes a coin case, allowing for versatile use.

The lining features an embossed brand logo.

The zipper uses a Universal Fastener, a reproduction based on American vintage zippers from the 1940s-50s.

It retains the antique gold aesthetic of that era while incorporating modern specifications for greater ease of operation.

Cordovan, with its beautiful luster and luxurious feel, is susceptible to scratches and moisture. In particular, moisture from sweat can cause discoloration.
