Special T-shirt with Mickey Mouse motif

This year, a special collaboration T-shirt featuring a Mickey Mouse print on BARNS' classic loopwheeled T-shirt is back.

This design reproduces the legendary Mickey Mouse design that was sold at Disneyland in California for only 16 days during the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics, a design known only to a select few.

The print method uses wash-out printing, reproducing even the fuzzy texture of vintage items.

Neck

The binder neck, where the body is sandwiched and stitched, is also seen in vintage items.

It is highly elastic and durable, and can be used for many years.

Silhouette

Loopwheel knitting machines knit fabric in a tubular shape, and the fabric finished as a round body with no side seams is used as is.

It is difficult to adjust the size of the tubular body, so the angle of attachment of the sleeves, the sleeve width, and the line from the shoulders to the upper arms are adjusted to conform to the body, and the width of the sleeves is finely adjusted.

As a result, while it has a timeless regular size silhouette, it is sized to look good even when worn alone.

Fabric

To maintain a dry, crisp texture, we use slub yarn made from American cotton, which has more fluff (fuzz) than standard yarn.

By slowly knitting the fabric with this yarn to incorporate air, it creates both softness and a rustic texture.
